The New Zealand track cycling team will have to use borrowed equipment at the Moscow World Cup meet after their kit bag of high tech equipment worth $20,000 failed to arrive in the Russian capital.
Coach Terry Gyde said from Moscow it had been discovered that the bag never got off the ground - it had been sitting at Auckland airport, untagged.
The Australian team had offered to lend any equipment the New Zealand team needed, he said.
Marc Ryan is first in action for the New Zealanders in the individual pursuit tomorrow night.
