Heading to the Junior Worlds
14 Jul, 2005
Hey Everyone,

Just a quick email before we our afternoon road ride, The flight over here was a bit of
an adventure.. the flight from NZ to LA wasnt so bad sleeping pills kicked in nicely and
i got about 8ours sleep, but when we got to LA we had to across to the other side of the
airport which took us almost an hour its not quite the same as the rotorua domestic
terminal. We were late for our flight and after some convincing they let us check in and
the plane was held for an hour untill we got on, LA airport pretty crazy place policemen
roaming around with machine guns on. This flght to Frankfurt was shit to say the least..
but we got there, Rushlee somehow lost her ticket and had to stay in frankfurt airport by
herself while we flew to geneva, she got there a couple hours later...im sure it wasnt
her funnest moments but a bit of a laugh anyways.

So weve been in aigle now for 3days, this place is amazing, everything you can imagine a
swiss town would be like, right at the foot of the swiss alps. we did a road ride
yesterday it was so mint, the roads are so awesome to ride on, this morning we had our
first hit out on the track, everyone is looking pretty sharp and our tp team is shaping
up nicely..on the 26th me and westley are riding off for the final Individual pursuit
spot for worlds so should be sweet.

Well i better gap, got some more training to do and go and get a milkshake and check out
the nice little swiss girl behind the counter.

Au Revior
Ill be in touch again later

Sam
