Fizik ANTARES - CHRIS FROOME

Team SKY place huge emphasis on every product they select for their riders to utilise for the season and saddle choice is something they reached straight to the top shelf for.  Fitted to Froome's Dogma is the younger brother to Fiziks famous Arione saddle the Antares.  A little firmer and wider in the rear to support wider placed sit bones the Antares offers a saddle with three distinct seating positions.  The pan flat top surface allows Froome to slide back for climbing and forward on the flats with the greatest of ease.

Here is what Team SKY have to say about Fizik saddles.

fi'zi:k is the best saddle choice in the pro peloton and is proud to support Team Sky.

fi'zi:k is a racing brand that represents beauty, speed, passion and freedom; designed for those who race against each other, race against the clock and for cycling enthusiasts around the world who identify with the feeling of fiery competition. This premiere Italian brand is 16 years old and has become one the most desired by professional cyclists of all disciplines.

Originally a saddle-only brand, fi'zi:k now designs and manufactures a myriad of cycling accessories. Since the beginning, the fi'zi:k mission has remained the same: to improve the riding experience for every cyclist. Based on this clear objective, which fits perfectly with Team Sky's marginal gains philosophy, fi'zi:k has become a partner of Team Sky.

Throughout the years, we've extolled our innovative technologies, the passion of our employees, and our dedication to designing and manufacturing end products that surpass all others in quality and performance.

Team Sky riders have achieved some of their greatest victories riding fi'zi:k products. Mark Cavendish, for example, rides with as Arione Cx braided saddle and will continue to look to impress the cycling community with further victories on it in 2012. Moreover, fi'zi:k are keen to also help deliver success for Cavendish and Great Britain next summer.

Spine Concept, the fi'zi:k guideline to the right saddle choice (fitting), will help Team Sky riders in finding which saddle will fit them best. Team Sky athletes will choose the Arione, Antares and Aliante or the brand new Kurve range.

fi'zi:k strongly believes in the value of sponsorship, field testing, feedback and testimonials. This three-fold sponsorship strategy is key to fi'zi:k's product development as well as sales and marketing because testing alone cannot simulate the wear on products that occurs at the highest level of professional training and racing. fi'zi:k does not want to just sponsor a team by just supplying a saddle, fi'zi:k wants to be part of the team and share with the riders and the team staff the same passion, the same desire, the same dream, the same determination and finally the glory of victory.
