LOOK keO BLADE PEDALS Mark Cavendish

Cav has been churning out the victores this season on LOOK's top end clipless pedal the keO Blade.  With a monster wide 62mm surface and 402 square mm of contact area the Blade is just the platform to be applying the mega watts to in the arena of Tour de France bunch sprinting.

Weighing in at just 95g the rotational weight is incredibly low and coupled with the 16nm carbon leaf spring fitted to Cav's set the security is like a vault door.

LOOK test their products to be reliable "beyond" the standards set, LOOK axles are only approved for production after tests of shock, fatigue and wear far superior to the standard. For example, the pedals are only validated after a rotational test of one million cycles at 100 rpm with a load of 90kg on the centre of the pedal and an off-centre rotation (which creates a shock at each rotation). This test is more stringent than the most demanding standard in force: EN14781 which recommends a load of 65kg on the centre of the pedal for 100 000 cycles.
