Round 2 of the Body02 Penny Farthing Cycles Mountainbike series was held today in wet and slippery conditions at Tunnel Gulley near Upper Hutt. Local riders Wayne Hiscock and Gavin McCarthy fought it out in the Elite mens class to take the top two positions. Catherine Dunn was the fastest woman on the day taking a win over Alison Gaudaur. We had a massive turnout of 160 riders at Makara Peak yesterday, that's 50 more than last year. Congratulations to you all for tackling the technically demanding course. It was a massive turnout for round one of the Body 02 Penny Farthing Cycles Mountainbike series this sunday with well over 180 riders hit the Makara Peak Mountainbike park in force.
