Auckland's Justin Grace remains the fastest man on wheels after dominating the second night of finals at the Lion Foundation Track Cycling Championships in Invercargill tonight. This week's racing saw the greatest number of entries so far this season with 17 women starting (the same number as A-grade) and 23 Under 17 riders. This contributed to some excellent racing, but with the extra heats involved and longer elimination races also contributed to a long evening of racing for those who braved it out to the end. It was sprinters night at the velodrome with the 500m Sprinters Scratch race providing exciting (and sometimes controversial) racing in both the heats and the final.
