Roulston Delivers Team Captain Cavendish to First Win of 2011
21 Feb, 2011

Hayden Roulston out to cement his place in the 2011 HTC Teams Tour de France roster has done his chances the world of good when he delivered his teams star sprinter Mark Cavendish to the finish line in the final stage of the Tour of Qatar in first place.  Cavendish who was quick to praise the efforts of the powerful Kiwi all rounder commented  "In the last 400 metres the winds seemed to come from three different directions, really coming from everywhere. A couple of times I thought we were going to the ground, it was so hectic. In races like this it seems like everyone wants to win the sprint. Some sprints in the Tour are easier than those of today.”
