Spanish Champion Jose Ivan Gutierrez Returns to Tour Down Under With Movistar

Spanish team Movistar has its sights set on the 2011 Santos Tour Down Under and will be fielding a strong team for the race in Adelaide next year.

"We are thrilled to have a strong Spanish squad compete at our race next year with some of Spainís biggest talents such as Jose Joaquin Rojas and Jose Ivan Gutierrez," says Santos Tour Down Under Race Director Mike Turtur.

"Rojas has shown his competitive side here, winning the Cycle Instead Young Rider jersey twice.

"Gutierrez is another strong rider who competed with Rojas at our race last year, and is the current Spanish national road race champion."

Team Manager Jose Luis Arrietta (ESP) will be leading the Movistar team, comprising the following riders:
