LOOK and COFIDIS still together on the road
Dominique Bergin, LOOK’s CEO, and Eric Boyer, COFIDIS ‘ General
Manager, have extended their partnership until 2012. The French brand
will supply the cycling team - 2010 2nd best French Team - with its
new frame, the 695, and Keo Power pedals. The 596 frame - originating
from the track technology - will be used on time-trial events. On those
occasions, riders will also use the first pedal exclusively dedicated to timetrials,
the Keo Blade Carbon Aero.
Dominique Bergin, CEO of the Nevers-based company : « I’m very happy
to carry on this partnership with COFIDIS. For a brand such as LOOK, it is
essential to be in the peloton and at the highest level of the competition.
Sponsorship, as well as being an important image vehicle, is a constant
drive for innovations.»
Eric Boyer, COFIDIS’ General Manager : « We are delighted to carry on the
partnership with LOOK. We are used to working together. The riders and
staff are pleased with the technical help they get. LOOK offers one of the
best technology in the world. But the relationship between COFIDIS and
LOOK goes beyond that. We do have exceptionnal bikes, but there is also

very important to us. For a team, it’s essential.»
4 newly turned professionals are joining the French team : Adrien Petit
(VC Nogent-sur-Oise), Yoann Bagot (VC La Pomme), Nicolas Edet (Véranda
Rideau-Sarthe) and Florent Barle (VC Aix-en-Provence).
Double Latvia Champion (on road and MTB) Aleksejs Saramotins (Team
HTC – Columbia) is also transfering over, as well as French Time Trial
Champion Nicolas Vogondy (BBox).
Stéphane Augé, David Moncoutié (2010 Vuelta’s Best Climber), Jens
Keukeleir, Estonian Champion, Kalle Kriit and his fellow countryman, Rein
Taaramäe, remain the cornerstones of the team.
