Jesse Sergent Steps up to Pro Tour
23 Jul, 2010

Kiwi U23 sensation Jesse Sergent has been the talk of the peloton ever since his crushing victory in the Tour of Gila time trial back in April when he took the win ahead of Dave Zabriskie and Levi Leipheimer.  Seeing the potential Belgian team manager Bruyneel has pulled the Feilding native into the Radioshack team for the remainder of the season seeing him leave his sport on the U23 feeder Trek - Livestrong.

Im heading away next Thursday to do some racing for RadioShack for the rest of the season, Sergent told Cyclingnews. Im hoping that works out for me and we will see what happens for next year.

It is a big opportunity for me and Im really excited about it, he added. Its been a goal of mine and Ive been working really hard toward it. Last year was my first season over here in the US and I learned a lot being a part of the Trek-Livestrong team.
