Sergent Stuns Cycling World

New Zealand's Jesse Sergent has punched out a massive victory on US soil today in besting some of the best time trial riders in the world during Stage three of the Tour of Gila.  Sergent who rides for Lance Armstrong's development team "Trek Livestrong" took no prisioners in the 26.6km test putting 14 seconds into Levi Leipheimer and 26 seconds in Dave Zabriskie.  Aside from this Sergent also put an impressive 1.50 into seven time winner of the Tour de France Lance Armstrong. 

Sergent whom last year lost over three minutes to Leipheimer on this stage was surprised by his result in beating such a calibre of riders but also could alsoquantify his progress which has also included a silver medal in the Individual pursuit at this years World Championships in Denmark.
