Vink's Record Highlight of Local TT Season
31 Mar, 2010

Michael Vink’s breaking of Brian Fowlers 16 year old time trial record was a highlight of the Christchurch Time Trial association’s summer season that ended last night.

A number of age group records were also broken during the season which experienced excellent growth and interest with large numbers turning out for the weekly racing on a Tuesday night.

Vink, 18, broke the long standing record on the 16th of March to record a time of 19 minutes and 42 seconds for the 16 kilometre course, being the first person to go under 20 minutes for the distance.
