Torckler Takes Out Trust House Classic
31 Jan, 2010

Rising Kiwi Cycling star Michael Torckler has confirmed himself as a rider for the future after taking out the overall classification of the Trust House Classic in Wellington.  In what were somewhat abnormal circumstances for day fives racing the Commisaires took the decision for the stage to not count in the overall result due to the atrocious conditions in the Capital.

With this being the case the overnight results were to be the final overall.  Torckler and his Cardno Team rode the four days of the Tour in a powerful style never looking like losing what Torckler fought so hard for up Admirals hill on day two.
