BikeNZ Hiring
18 Sep, 2009

BikeNZ is a vibrant and unique national sporting organisation that is leading the development of cycling in NZ. We work to guide NZ cycling to success in all areas – from sport and recreational riding both on and off road.

BikeNZ’s current Event Manager is about to go on maternity leave opening the door for an up and coming Event Manager / Marketer to really hone their skills in an exciting and dynamic sports event environment.

BikeNZ co-ordinate and market over 30 key cycling events per year, and have partnerships with a number of other key cycling events. The events manager’s will lead and co-ordinate a very busy event calendar, and will ultimately ensure the delivery of well publicised and high quality events.

The successful applicant will have experience in strategic planning and marketing execution of events. While, our role is typically not to deliver the events, you will work closely with the delivery agents ensuring our quality, promotional and commercial objectives are met. You will lead a number of new event related projects with the support of the BikeNZ team and will be responsible for events stakeholder communication.

Experience in sport (or other) event management and marketing would be a definite  advantage. You’ll have eye for detail, good communications and project management skills and a good grasp of marketing concepts.

Do you share our passion for sports and events? Want to be part of the dynamic growth of cycling?
