30 Nov, 2017
fi’zi:k’s new shoe, Terra X5 promises improved comfort, performance and protection for every rider on any terrain from trails and singletrack to forest road. The new Terra X5 is adaptive; its Volume Control means improved fit through an asymmetric opening and the Boa L6 Dial B dial running steel-coated nylon laces through light, durable ‘Slipstream’ plastic guides. fi’zi:k combines the dial fastening with a single 25mm wide microfiber strap with Velcro fastener - the result is a light, easy to use and micro-adjustable closure system, providing precision fit for any foot shape. Terra X5 features Terra X5 has tough, protective yet highly breathable1.4mm Perforated Microtex upper sides which works along with the inner mesh to offer excellent temperature regulation on the trails, for enhanced comfort and performance. Generous PU bonded heel and toe sections join with PU lower instep and outstep sections to provide a shield from trail hazards while the tongue section offers subtle dorsal impact protection. X5’s combination of laser-perforated Microtex and rubber coating ensures comfort, ventilation, and fit - yet remains tough enough for any riding conditions. Riders can attack trails with confidence thanks to the all-terrain grip provided by pronounced treads, creating a sturdy support for riders preferring clipless pedals with a small platform. A light, tough woven tape heel loop easily attaches to backpacks to carry, store and allow the Terra X5 to dry.
