Cedric Gracia Joins Crankbrothers Team
13 Mar, 2015

Adding to its world-class roster of athletes, crankbrothers today announced the addition of mountain bike legend and Enduro World Series racer Cedric Gracia to its team. Gracia grew up riding BMX and freestyle skiing before becoming a pillar of the professional mountain bike scene as a multi-talented World Cup downhill and four-cross racer, freerider, and enduro athlete.

Gracia joins the crankbrothers team with a multi-year partnership and will help crankbrothers build upon a legacy of innovation in developing state-of-the-art mountain bike pedals.

“It’s a pleasure to join the crankbrothers family with my teammates from the Santa Cruz Syndicate” said Gracia. “Crankbrothers is very active in the enduro and downhill markets, always delivering innovative products mixing technology and design. I am really happy to be part of the team. Thanks to crankbrothers for having me!”

Gracia’s career highlights include film appearances in the New World Disorder franchise, top-10 overall finishes in the World Cup, and a 1st place title at Red Bull Rampage. Following a life threatening crash at the 2012 World Cup in Val Di Sole, Gracia redirected his focus on enduro racing and freeride video parts. He made an immediate impact on the EWS, documenting his experience in the Cedric Gracia Through My Eyes video series.

“Cedric isn’t just another all-star athlete,” said Kellen Trachy, Global Marketing Manager, crankbrothers. “He’s an all-star personality who lives a full, colorful life. He lives and rides with enthusiasm, commitment and flair that cannot be matched. He’s a perfect fit for crankbrothers and we look forward to working with him in 2015 and beyond.”
