Late Entries Being Taken for Taupo

Those who missed registering for the 38thContact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge need not panic, with late entries being accepted.

Late entries for the event this coming Saturday will be available online at www.cyclechallenge.comfrom 6am Wednesday until 6pm Thursday, or on event day at the Great Lake Centre in Taupo from 10am–10pm on Friday, 28 November (the day before the event).

Organisers are expecting around 8,000 entrants this year with over 460 internationals.

Event Director, Kay Brake says “Anyone thinking of coming along can be assured of a great time."

"Whether you’re riding or there as support, we have a whole lot of options to keep you entertained over event weekend, and the weather’s looking like it’ll be perfect for a day of cycling.”

Held on the last Saturday of every November, the Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge has 20 event categories, with options both on and off road, offering something for everyone.
