LOOK 695 Heritage Ltd Edition - Not to be Missed!
13 Feb, 2013

Perhaps the most beautiful work of cycle art that has graced the offices recently would have to be the LOOK 695 Heritage.  Resplendent in La Vie Claire team colours of the 80s the emotions could not help be felt as we reminisced over the dominant Tour de France victories of Bernard Hinault and Greg Lemond aboard the famous French brand for what was the first of cyclings "super teams".  Featuring the most engineering we have seen in a road bike, the 695 comes integrated at three points with the E-post, C-stem and ZED crank.  Perhaps the ZED crank laid up out of continuous carbon fibres is the biggest advancement in carbon technology we have seen in a few years.  The rigidity it delivers with absolute sureness with every pedal stroke is only appreciated after being ridden, whilst the versatility of the design allowing a range of 170,172.5 and 175mm crank lengths in the one unit and the ability to swap in and out of compact or standard chain-ring sizes makes it customisable for different courses.  Available now in NZ in limited numbers.  This is one bike that delivers beyond the paint finish.
