Kiwi's Fail to Fire in Olympic Test Event
17 Feb, 2012
The New Zealand team pursuit quartet have put in a performance in London that will see them regrouping to gain back valuable seconds they have lost to arch rivals Australia and Great Britain.  The Australian team romped home in a blistering 3.57 for the 4000m with GB less than one secon behind with NZ a full seven seconds off the mark.  Notably missing from the NZ squad however was the world class Jesse Sergent who is currently performwi'sing for his Radioshack-Nissan world tour team.  The Kiwis who in recent times have performed equally with the leading powers on the boards have just under six months to go to gain back the precious seconds when they meet the same squads on the same track when competing for Olympic gold.  New Zealand will ride off for bronze against Belgium.
