Roulston Signs on for World Tour 2012
19 Oct, 2011

New Zealand's double Olympic medallist Hayden Roulston has signed on with a World Tour team in Europe for next season after much speculation the giant of Canterbury was to ride the season in BikeNZ colors in order to carry out his unfinished business at the Olympic games on the track.
Roulston one of the best opportunists in the sport came close to victory on a number of occasions in the Pro Tour finishing on the podium in both Tour of California and Tour de France stages was a sought after signature for many teams with the belief being that he has signed on in Belgium with the revamped Omega Pharma Quickstep or Lotto Ridley teams where he could meet up with compatriot Greg Henderson and build a formidable lead-out train for German sprinter Andre Griepel.

Roulston is currently competing on the Track in Invercargill sharpening his skill in the Omnium event which has replaced the individual pursuit competing in one of his last events in the famous HTC colors.
