DRAPAC Unveils 2015 Race Kit

In 2015 we will again see the red of Drapac in the pro peloton starting at the Australian national championship and Tour Down Under. With the growing fanbase, Jaguar as new partner and Drapac Group growing its business it was time for a new design fitting the teams aspirations.
Team manager Jonathan Breekveldt is happy with the design: “I think we can compete with pride wearing this kit. We are on a shared journey to excellence and feel that this kit fits the ambitions of our riders and partners. The combined colours and integrated logo’s go together like the individual kits will make one great team of riders and fans. Furthermore I believe that the combined horizontal and diagonal red striping reflects our holistic approach andthe different characters take make a team work.”
Chris Reynolds of Champion System: “Champion System can bring your design concept to reality and the proof is seen with the 2015 Drapac Pro cycling kit - classic clean lines with striking colours.”
Drapac Professional Cycling partnered with Pidgeon to work out the concept: “The 2015 Drapac kit design looks to replicate the professionalism of the team whilst enhance the physical presence of the of the riders both on and off the bike. The traditional Drapac red and white has been supplemented with a navy blue and is now representative of the colours of the Australian national flag. The combined horizontal and diagonal red striping draw inspiration form heraldic patterning, referred to as a barry-bendy sinister it is the distinctive back drop to our armoury.”

Jaguar and Drapac Professional Cycling

Jaguar Australia and Drapac Professional Cycling announced today a new partnership which will see Jaguar as the principal Team Sponsor for the next three years.

The partnership comes at an important time for Drapac, as it continues to expand its race program, taking in not only Australia and Asia but also the United States. General Manager of Drapac, Jonathan Breekveldt, sees the partnership as a dynamic addition to the Drapac racing programme as it plans for the season ahead, bringing together two organisations with a shared vision of success.
