fi'zi:k To Light up Finish Line in Paris
16 Jul, 2014

fi'zi:k has announced a striking new series of three saddle designs, which will be used by its sponsored teams at this year’s Tour de France.Seven pro-teams use fi'zi:k saddles, including the reigning Tour de France and Giro d’Italia champions Chris Froome and Nairo Quintana. All seven teams have committed to using the stunning saddles during the 2014 Tour de France.

Nicolò Ildos, fi’zi:k Marketing & Racing Manager says: “These are some of the most beautiful saddles that we have created and we’re delighted that all seven pro-teams that have been using the Spine Concept series saddles have committed to using the new design. We can’t wait to see the lights of the Champs Elysees reflecting off them as the riders sprint for the finish line in Paris.

The saddles use the latest material-science technologies, with the core of two models constructed from fiberglass thermoplastic composites and the third saddle made from carbon reinforced nylon. All three incorporate an eye-catching reflective element on a black Microtex cover, which is distinct, unmissable and acts as a reminder to allcyclists to think about visibility when riding.
