W.C.N.I Cycling Centre Open Road Championships

 

Hosted by Hawera Cycling Club

 

Held at Manaia Sunday 18th April 2010

 

Managers meeting to be held 9:30am at Headquarters at Manaia Town Hall

All distances approximate,

Senior & Under 23 Men                   150 kms                         10:15am

Masters 1&2 Men                               90 kms                         10:25am

Senior Women                                    90 kms                         10:30am

Under 19 Masters 1&2 Women          60 kms                         10:35am

Masters 3,4&5 Men & Women           60 kms                         12:00pm

Masters 6&7 Men & Women              60 kms                         12:10pm

Start and finish on Manaia Road

Above races start and finish outside Manaia Town Hall.

 

Club uniforms must be worn.

 

Clubs to supply own support wagons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Circuit 1 Course Route (1 Lap = 30kms):

 

Start on Manaia Road

Continue along Manaia Road until Normanby Road

Turn right onto Normanby Road

Continue along Normanby Road through Okaiawa until Mawhitiwhiti Road

Turn left onto Mawhitiwhiti Road

Continue along Mawhitiwhiti Road until Hastings Road

Turn right onto Hastings Road

Continue along Hastings Road To Skeet Road

Turn left onto Skeet Road

Continue along Skeet Road to Manaia Road

Turn left onto Manaia Road

Continue along Manaia Road then turn left onto Normanby Road

Note: On the last lap continue past Normanby Road to the start/finish line.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Circuit 2 Course Route (1 Lap = 8 kms)

Start on SH45

Continue along SH45 to Manaia Road

Turn left onto Manaia Road

Continue along Manaia Road until Normanby Road

Turn left onto Normanby Road

Continue along Normanby Road until SH45

Turn left onto SH45

Continue along SH45 until Manaia Road

Race won by out of Centre rider will secure a gold medal.
