According to the UCI Oceania Team Ranking, Fly V Australia finished the 2009 cycling season as the number one cycling team in Oceania. The team won more than 90 races in Australia and the United States in the last nine months of 2009. That included 21 stage wins, and capturing all but one of the tours in the Australian national road series. In addition there were 44 other victories in the US and Canada. It is registered as a UCI Continental Team in the Oceania region, and the schedule this year also includes races in Asia, Europe, Australia and North America.
