NZ Masters Championships

The interim Committee of the NZ Masters Cycling Association have arranged for the 2007 NZMCA Road Championships to be held in conjunction with the NZ Masters Games at Wanganui


This means that NZMCA members recording the three fastest times in the Wanganui Games RR and TT events will be declared NZMCA Champion and runners up respectively and awarded medals as usual.

When are the Races?

Time Trial - Friday 16 Feb 07

Road Race - Sat 17 Feb 07

To qualify to compete in the NZMCA Championships you must-

(1) Be a paid-up member of the NZMCA. There is a nominal subscription cost of $10 per year involved here. Payments may be made to NZMCA, Box 12428, Hamilton ...and....

(2) Be registered to participate in the 2007 Wanganui Games. Cost is $50 if registering before 19 Jan 08 plus $10 for each event, plus $20 if registering after 19 Jan07

What about medals for podium placegetters?

Medals will be awarded on the same day as the race if possible.

What about next year 2008?

It is proposed that similar arrangements be made concerning the 2008 NZMCA Champs in conjunction with the 2008 NZ Masters Games at Dunedin
